Values

God
We exist to honor God and enjoy him forever. It is our desire to bring God the adoration which is rightfully his and place great importance on the One who brings meaning and hope to our lives.

People
People matter to God and they matter to us. As we grow in our relationship with Christ a transformation takes place. We begin to value what He values. We are motivated to move out of our comfort zone and do what we can to help meet the needs of people around us.

Grace
Grace refers to the gift of our being rescued from our sin through Jesus Christ. We are committed to proclaiming grace through teaching, preaching, conversation and lifestyle.

Truth
How we view the world effects the way we live. We are committed to upholding the truthfulness of the Bible and presenting an accurate portrayal of life and reality.

Authenticity
Grace and truth allow us and call us to be real with who we are. Finding our identity in Christ frees us from pretending to be something we are not. We are committed to cultivating authenticity by emphasizing the gospel and its power to liberate people from guilt, self-righteousness and an unhealthy desire for approval.

Community
Where grace, truth and authenticity exist, community will follow. The gospel frees us to move beyond appearance, reputation, and performance oriented relationships. A gospel centered community is authentic community where genuine relationships can flourish.

Teamwork
We are committed to making sure every member is involved in ministry. God has given each of us gifts with which to serve each other as we seek to glorify God and expand His kingdom.

Balance
We want to emphasize heart and mind, depth and application, the transcendence of God and his nearness, personal devotion and social justice, work and recreation, laughter and tears

Sacrifice
We are committed to doing whatever it takes to accomplish what we sense God is calling us to do. This means we must be willing at times to set aside personal preferences for the sake of others. It means that as we seek to be obedient to God there will be times when it will cost us something and at times it will involve risk.

Engaging Culture
Jesus calls us to be salt and light in the world. Whether it is our role as a church or individually in the marketplace, God has called us to be a part of his redemptive process in society. Without compromising the content of the Christian faith we are committed to express its truth in ways that are culturally relevant.
